PITTSBURGH, PA—Cisco Kid announces their recording debut with lead singer Addi Twigg on their first new studio material in three years: the psychedelic- and soul-influenced roots-rock EP Tangled in Sin. Fans of artists such as Elton John, Alabama Shakes, and The Buckle Downs will find plenty to love on the Pittsburgh band’s second album. This five-track release is a follow-up to 2017’s Beautiful Day to Die, which featured previous singer Nick Guckert (The Living Street) and keyboardist Andrew Van Treeck. The album’s alluring lead single, “Slide Right In,” drops on all major streaming platforms on Friday October 2, 2020 ahead of the full release on Friday October 9, 2020.
Twigg, also of local soul-pop band The Telephone Line, combines her powerhouse vocals with guitarist Brian Swed, guitarist/keyboardist Rich Stanley, bassist Martin Connolly, and drummer Marc Martinka. Together, this new iteration of Cisco Kid offers passion, depth, and an undeniable groove on an EP that explores personal reckonings with religion—and with reckless behavior. …

Tangled in Sin drops on all major streaming and download platforms (Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, and Amazon Music) on Friday, October 9, 2020. A release show is tentatively planned when concerts can safely resume.
